How It Works

To participate in the “Round Up” savings program you will need each of the following United Equity Credit Union products to qualify: share/draft checking account, debit card, and a share savings account.

Upon enrollment, you agree that the credit union will round up your United Equity Credit Union debit card purchases to the nearest dollar and transfer the difference from your share/draft checking account to the United Equity Credit Union share savings account of your choosing. Each round up transaction is processed separately and will be noted as such on your monthly statement.

If on a business day you do not have sufficient available funds in your share/draft checking account, or if any transaction has overdrawn your share/draft checking account, we will not round up the overdraft purchase and will cancel the round up for that transaction. If your debit card transaction is subsequently cancelled or reversed, the corresponding round up transfer will remain in your designated share savings account.  We may cancel or modify the “Round Up” to savings service at any time without prior notice. “Round Up” is available only on a debit card linked to your United Equity Credit Union share/draft checking account.
