Mobile TXT Banking

Are email and web surfing “old fashioned”?  Do you need accessibility regardless of where and when?  Well, we’ve got the answer:  Utility Employees Credit Union now offers the ability to access your accounts from most cellular devices.  If you are signed up for Online Account Access, you can now sign up for TXT Banking, and the price is reasonable . . . . . . FREE.

General Information

  • Works on any SMS text enabled cell phone
  • No internet connection required-uses cell phone messaging anywhere/anytime
  • No computer required (after initial activation and registration of your cell phone)
  • Will only respond if the request comes from your registered phone
  • Will only send info to your registered cell phone
  • Uses multi-factor authentication (your created PIN and your cell phone)
  • Messages to your registered cell phone do not include any personal information

Set-up Instructions

  • Go into your account online..click on ‘TXT Banking’
  • Read and submit the Terns of Use
  • Enter your wireless carrier & add your cell number…wait for text message on cell phone….follow instructions on the screen
  • Send text message to uecu@cutxt.com as instructed with  ‘ALIAS’ as the mnessage and wait for reply
  • The message will tell you if you have an ALIAS. If so, enter it. If not leave blank
  • Choose Pin & Confirm
  • Choose Default Account #
  • Finished!

To get TXT Banking set up on your cell phone, log in to Online Account Access at the top of this page then click TXT Banking. Just another way Utility Employees Credit Union stays connected with members!
