Your credit union has implemented two new options for our members who are signed up for Online Account Access! Switch Accounts and Cross Account Transfers. Authorization forms are available for you to print, complete, sign and mail or fax to the credit union office.

Switch Account Access

Have you ever been logged in to your account and wanted to see information on your spouse's or children's account(s)? And the only option is to log out of your account and then log in to their account. You may be happy to know that we have enabled "Switch" account access. Following is a guideline for using the "Switch" account access.

The “Switch” account function allows members to access other accounts through our HomeCu online account access program for the purpose of viewing account balances, history, and online statements (if the accounts have been signed up for online statements) and initiating transactions within the account they are viewing.  This does not allow for transactions between the accounts.  Refer to “Cross Account Transfer Guidelines” for information on initiating transactions between accounts.

The Switch Account Authorization form must be completed and signed by the owner of each account(s).  The “owner” of the account(s) may be the primary owner or any joint owner of the account(s), provided the joint owner(s) have full ownership of all account types.

In order to sign up for “Switch” account access, all accounts must have online account access.

The signature(s) will be verified to the signature(s) on file before “Switch” access is granted.

This access authorization may be withdrawn by any account owner who submits a signed and dated cancellation request to either the Decatur or Galesburg credit union office.  The transfer authorization may also be cancelled by the credit union when warranted.

 

 

Cross Account Transfer

Do you ever need to transfer money from your account to your spouse's or children's account(s) and would rather not have to call the credit union? We have enabled "Cross Account Transfer" function so that you can initiate a transfer from your account to the other account while logged on to your account.

This function only allows funds to go FROM shares within the primary account TO the recipient account and does not allow for “vice-versa” transfers.

In order to sign up for “Transfer” transaction capability, all accounts must have online account access.

A Cross Account Transfer Authorization form must be completed and signed by the owner of each account.  The “owner” of the account may be the primary owner or any joint owner of the account.

The signature(s) will be verified to the signature(s) on file before “Transfer” transaction access is granted.
